Help my new Internet business grow!

Hey all!

I just started up with this awesome new business opportunity for a company called Quixtar, an Internet based network marketing system that gives me an online store to sell products and services. It's a complicated setup to explain, but it works on a pyramid-based system(not a pyramid scam; this is a legitimate business). It works on similar principles as Amway; in fact, Quixtar was founded by a group that splintered off from Amway, and found a better way of setting up the system. Here's a brief rundown of how it works:

I'm an IBO(Independent Business Owner), working with an order consolidation site(woo! Big words!) which sells almost anything you could need. This is anything from toilet paper to laundry detergent to food to electronics to gifts to just about anything. We sell through a combination of exclusive products and well-known partner stores such as Office Max, Barnes & Noble, and a LOT of other popular names. As an IBO I can use the site to buy products that I would normally inconvenience myself to get elsewhere, for discounted prices, and I get income from such purchases back in check form at the end of the month that is associated with the advertising cost of the products.

It's actually a LOT more complicated than this, and I couldn't really explain it properly over the Internet...if you wanted a more detailed explanation, I'd have to come to you guys in person and give you a presentation. ;) And I don't have the money for that...yet. But if you're willing to help me get things moving, there are a few ways you can help out. Keep in mind that whether you want to or not is entirely up to you, I don't want to pressure anyone. So here are the steps if you're interested:

1. Visit http://www.quixtar.com
2. Browse through the "Find Products" section of the website and see all that's available...there's quite a bit that could be useful, and I'm sure you can find something that you buy every month anyway...laundry detergent, food, whatever. Just find one or two things that you think you would have an easier time having delivered to you instead of having to take the time and effort of going to the store. Don't forget to check out the 'partner stores & services' link! You can even get cell phone plans through me.
3. If you're interested, visit the Register with Quixtar section. You can register as an IBO, a Member, or a Client under me, and therefore would be shopping through me. Here are the differences:

An IBO is the same as me, so if you registered with this you would be working at the same kind of thing. This is probably a bad option for you to select for right now unless you know personally another IBO in your area who can help you get started. I can't do it over the Internet, because usually an IBO works best in person to get others going. I wouldn't be able to teach you how to do things from a distance like that.

A Member is someone who orders online and gets discounts on their items that they buy. The discounts aren't quite as good as an IBO; I think Members get about half the discount rate that an IBO does. It's a 20 dollar annual fee to be a Member. This is probably the most convenient way to get a discount on your items.

A Client is someone who simply buys from the website and gets no discount, but neither do they pay an annual fee like a Member or an IBO does. Basically what you get from being a Client is access to a lot of good products that you can order conveniently and easily and have them shipped to your door. It's convenient, and you don't have to pay the annual fees, but you also don't get the discounts.

Those are the only registration options; however, another option would be to send orders of what you wanted to me personally through E-mail, along with your address information and whatnot. You would then pay me through some method(PayPal is the easiest way, and you can sign up for it for free), and I would place the order for you and have it shipped to your address. This would allow you to get the full IBO discount without any annual fees, and it would still help me out a lot. The only problem with this option is that it would be slightly less convenient, since you couldn't immediately order your product but would instead have to send your order to me and have me ship it, then you pay me. It just complicates things a little, but is still not a bad option.

Everyone, please keep in mind that I'm not asking you to spend extra money on things or something. All I'm suggesting is that you find something that you would normally spend money on anyway each month. For example, my parents buy toilet paper in bulk about once a month from Costco, because it's a good price, it lasts awhile, and the toilet paper is generally better quality than what we would get at our local Save Mart. The problem is, they can only get some once a month because our Costco is in Fresno, so that's an hour's drive out of the way. And what happens if they can't go to Fresno one particular month or if they make a trip but somehow forget to pick up some of the toilet paper? They can't just turn around and go back and take all that extra time and effort. So instead, they can use the money they would normally allot to that toilet paper and buy it in bulk from my website. They're not spending any more, and they'll actually be saving a little bit because of the discounts, as well as not having to go through the time and hassle of travelling to another city entirely. That's all I'm asking. If you can and want to, just find something you would need anyway and buy it there, get the convenience and savings, instead of the inconvenience of multiple store trips.

One last thing: Quixtar has a patented system called the DITTO system on their website for additional convenience. If you have an item that you want to buy monthly, and don't want to even take the hassle of logging onto the website to place your order each month, you can purchase something with the DITTO option. This will automatically renew your order at the same time each month so that you can just do it once and forget about it, sort of like having a newspaper or magazine subscription. It really makes things convenient. You can not make use of this function if you're buying through me, because I would have to set it up, and make sure the shipping address was changed at the right time every month. The DITTO system is for clients and members.

Anyway, that's about it. I hope I didn't confuse anyone with how it works, but if you have any questions, E-mail me or leave me a comment or something and I can try to explain further. Please keep in mind that I'm still learning this business, so I might not be able to answer ALL of your questions, but I can guarantee you that if I don't know the answer, I'll find someone that does. ^_^ Thanks for your support, whether it be in prayers, orders, or just lots of hugs and snugs, all of which are welcome. I'm hoping to be able to build this up enough to pay my way through college, so even a "good luck!" would be awesome.

P.S. For those wanting to register as Members or Clients under me, you'll need two things.

My IBO number: 4170658
My IBO Key: WHI, the first three letters of my last name.

If you're not a technical geek, you're geek enough to mate with a technical geek and thereby get the needed dough. Dating tip: Don't date a geek of the same persuasion as you.
